Dear parents,
We have decided to set the minimum entry age for children into the Caracalla Spa at 7 years. There are various reasons for this decision.
Your relaxation
The Caracalla Spa is an oasis for rest and relaxation. We want you to enjoy your stay – without noise, stress and tension. We want you to unwind in relaxation and bathe at leisure. That’s important to us.
Thermal water
The thermal water of Baden-Baden makes you fit and is healthy at the same time. In addition to the healing powers, the warmth of the water makes bathing a very pleasant event. For children, the warmth and the water contents are particularly intensive and the effects on the organism are rather strong.
Furthermore the Caracalla Spa is not equipped for children as we do not have specific pools with an adequate water depth or children attractions like water slides etc.
The Kinderparadies
We offer a child care service outside the bathing area with trained personnel for children from the age of 18 months. Here, your children can play and try out the various toys and games with others.
Children between the age of 7 and 14 years are allowed into the bath when accompanied by an adult but they have to pay the full entrance fee. The sauna area may be used from the age of 7 years (accompanied by an adult up to the age of 14).

Kinderparadies opening times and prices
Opening times: daily, 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. (closed on 24/25 December)
The Kinderparadies is located on the 3rd floor inside the building of the Caracalla Spa.
For members of ArenaVita, child care is free of charge. For visitors to the Caracalla Spa, the Friedrichsbad and CaraVitalis, it’s Euro 4.00 per child.
