How much is the admission?

Is the sauna center included in the admission?
Yes. Tickets also include admission to the sauna area at no extra charge.
Is the sauna center a nudist area?
Yes, bathing clothes are not worn in the sauna area. Therefore a healthier perspiration is guaranteed.
Is there a women’s day in the sauna center?
No. The sauna center is always a mixed area.
How do I get to the Caracalla Spa?
The address of the Caracalla Spa is Römerplatz 1 in Baden-Baden.
How to find us:
By car:
A5 motorway / exit Baden-Baden / road B500 towards Baden-Baden / follow blue spa signs.
By train:
ICE/EC/IR (intercity) trains and all regional trains stop at Baden-Baden railway station. Busses towards the city center depart from there on a regular basis: 205 directly to the Caracalla Spa, 201 and 216 to the “Leopoldsplatz”.
On foot:
Start at Leopoldsplatz (main town square in Baden-Baden) / go down Sophienstraße (street) / Caracalla Spa is about 500 metres down the street on the left-hand side.
Where can I park?
There is a parking garage with 250 spaces underneath the Caracalla Spa. Visitors to the Caracalla Spa park for free for the first 2 hours. Please validate your parking ticket at the entrance to the Caracalla Spa.
What do I have to bring along?
In any case you should pack your bag with the following things: bathing clothes for the bathing area of the Caracalla Spa, towels, bathing shoes, possibly a bathrobe and everything you need for showering. If you forget something, that’s no problem: you can buy everything in our Caracalla-Shop. There you can also rent towels (5,00 € rental fee / 10,00 € deposit).
The showers in the Caracalla Spa are also equipped with soap dispensers and hairdryers are provided for you.
Can I bring my child with me?
Children between the age of 7 and 14 years are allowed into the bath when accompanied by an adult but they have to pay the full entrance fee. The sauna area may be used from the age of 7 years (accompanied by an adult up to the age of 14).
We offer a child care service outside the bathing area with trained personnel for children from the age of 18 months. Here, your children can play and try out the various toys and games with others.

Are there any restaurants?
The saunabar in the sauna area of the Caracalla Spa is ideal for the little breaks to relax in-between sauna rounds. Cold and hot drinks satisfy the thirst and little nibbles are on offer as refreshments
In TOMI’S RÖMER – Eat Drink Bar – you can enjoy delicious pasta, salads and steaks both within and outside the bathing area of the Caracalla Spa.

Are there additional offers?
In the bathing and sauna area high quality solariums are available which guarantee healthy tanning.

These additional services are charged separately.
Which effects does the thermal water have?
Bathing in the thermal spring water of Baden-Baden is not only enjoyable, it activates, rejuvenates and stimulates the entire body. The thermal water is particularly effective in the treatment of the following conditions:
- spinal and locomotive disorders
- chronic inflammatory rheumatic conditions
- rheumatoid arthritis

Is the Friedrichsbad a nudist bath?
Yes, in the Friedrichsbad you bathe without clothes. Therefore healty bathing is guaranteed.
Do men and women bathe separately?
Traditionally men and women bathe separately in the Friedrichsbad. On the separate bathing days men and women meet in the fascinating domed hall of the Friedrichsbad (stages 10-11). Separate days are Monday, Thursday and Saturday. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and public holidays couples can use all of the 17 stages together.

The address of the Friedrichsbad is Römerplatz 1 in Baden-Baden.

You don’t need a big bag for a visit in the Friedrichsbad. It’s a nudist bath. Therefore you don’t need to bring any bathing clothes. We provide you with towels and bathing shoes. Furthermore our showers are equipped with soap dispensers and at stage 15 you can chose between different moisturising creams. Hairdryers are also there for you to use.
Can I bring my child with me?

Are there supervising coaches?
In the training zone with its high-standard strength-building machines you can choose between all training possibilities on offer. There is always competent staff around to advise you and to support you so that you will achieve as much success as possible. Our team of coaches consists of sports teachers and physiotherapists.

Is there nutritional consulting?
In ArenaVita we focus on your fitness and your health. Food is part of this as you can only use your energy to the full extent if you eat the right things. Therefore ArenaVita offers its members every Thursday from 5 to 6.30 pm nutritional consulting free of charge. Please make an appointment beforehand.
Do I have to bring sports clothes?
Please bring both sports clothes and sports shoes with you for your fitness training in the ArenaVita. In addition you should also have a towel with you to use as a underlay for the training on strength-building machines or in the courses.
How do I get to the ArenaVita?
The ArenaVita is located in the building of the Caracalla Spa, Römerplatz 1 in Baden-Baden.

Is there a sauna?
The members of ArenaVita have the possibility to enjoy the bathing and sauna area of the Caracalla Spa at least once a week. This is included in the membership.
Day trippers can buy a combined ticket for the Caracalla Spa and the ArenaVita.

In ArenaVita high quality solariums are available which guarantee healthy tanning.
ArenaVita can be ideally combined with a relaxing stay in the bathing and sauna area of the Caracalla Spa, with a bath in the historic Friedrichsbad or with the beauty- and wellness-treatments in CaraVitalis.

Beauty and wellness treatments can be booked daily from 8 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. (closed on 24/25 December).

Where is CaraVitalis?
The rooms for our beauty and wellness treatments are located both in the building of the Caracalla Spa and in the historic Friedrichsbad.
Do I need an appointment?
We would like to ask you to book your beauty and wellness treatments well in advance either by internet, telephone or in person at the service office in the reception area of the Friedrichsbad or the Caracalla Spa.
Are there any packages?
We also offer packages for a whole day or a weekend. You can put together your own Wellness Menu or opt for one of our “Feel Good” programmes, which are a sensible combination of individual beauty and wellness treatments. Link zu Wohlfühlprogramme bei CaraVitalis
What do I have to bring along?
We provide towels for you and if you book a “Feel Good” programme we also have a bathrobe ready for you. Therefore you don’t need to bring anything.
